Here at Wendy Wilson Team, we want to foster students’ abilities to analyze business markets and look at opportunities. This scholarship will require students to research a city in Indian River County of their choice and discuss the impact of travel and tourism on that city’s real estate market and how it will affect the job opportunities in their field. This scholarship will be awarded to the student that demonstrates a recorded video explaining the economic profile of their chosen city, amount of travel and tourism dollars spent in the past year and how this will affect the job opportunities in their field. Wendy Wilson Team will award a grand prize scholarship of $1,000 for a 2-4 minute video describing their analysis. The video must use visual aids and proper citation of research.  The video will be judged for the following:  content, originality, creativity and the Wendy Wilson Team branding.

Student Requirement:

• Applicant must reside in Indian River County. Applicants can include those looking to change careers.
• Applicant must be a Florida resident and be able to provide 2 proof’s of Florida residency
• Applicant must be accepted to a Career and Technical Education program offered through the Indian River County School District Adult Education.

Video Submission Requirements:

• Videos must be 2-4 minutes long to qualify. Please no submissions under 2 minutes or over 4 minutes
• Please choose one of the following cities in Indian River County: Fellsmere, Sebastian, Vero Beach, Indian River Shores or Orchid
• Demonstrates a recorded video explaining the economic profile of their chosen city, amount of travel and tourism dollars spent and real estate market analysis. Helpful hint: city economic data and real estate transactions can be obtained at city-data.com
• Demonstrate market analysis in a way that will entertain viewers
• Video must include Re/Max Associated Realty branding

How to Apply:

1. Fill out the application form below.
2. Create a video, upload the video to your YouTube account. Send the link of your video to info@searchverobeachrealestate.com and we will add it to our submissions playlist.*
3. By May 1st, 2017 submit your videos and completed entry form

* All video submissions will be property of Re/Max Associated Realty and will be used accordingly.
